RYA Sea Survival Course
at Plymouth Powerboat School, Devon & Cornwall

RYA Sea SurvivalThis course covers the use of life rafts, survival equipment and survival techniques should you be unlucky enough to have to abandon your vessel. Other topics covered include the use of life jackets, flares, medical aspects of sea survival and search and rescue techniques. Being properly trained in the use of survival equipment could help save your life.

The course includes a practical session in a indoor swimming pool and students are encouraged to experience first hand the problems of entering an inflated and uncooperative liferaft while fully kitted out in waterproofs and a lifejacket.

Entry requirements: None

Minimum age: 16

Course fee: £95 per person
Price includes VAT, Course Handbook and Certificate (on successful completion)

Course duration: 1 day - 09:00 to 17:00

Dates: We train 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Courses can usually be arranged on a date of your choice
