Basic Navigation and Safety Course

A new course covering charts and publications, safety, engine checks, buoyage, tidal awareness, visual and electronic navigation, pilotage, rules of the road, anchoring, weather forecasts and passage planning.

• Equally suitable for sailors and powerboaters
• Duration of 16 hours
• The course is usually taken over 2 consecutive days, but is also available as evening classes
• Price includes a study pack containing course handbook, practice questions, training charts, etc.
• We can also run this course at your location; please contact us for more information.

Entry requirements: None (especially suitable for beginners).

Course fee: £200 per person (group discounts available) / £400 with 1:1 tuition.
Prices include VAT, Course Handbook, Certificate (on successful completion), Tea & Coffee

Dates: We train 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Courses can usually be arranged on a date of your choice
