RYA Basic Navigation & Safety Course

Our RYA Basic Navigation and Safety course covering charts and publications, safety, engine checks, buoyage, tidal awareness, visual and electronic navigation, pilotage, rules of the road, anchoring, weather forecasts and passage planning.

• Equally suitable for sailors and powerboaters
• Duration of 16 hours
• The course is usually taken over 2 consecutive days, but is also available as evening classes

Entry requirements: None (especially suitable for beginners)

Course fee: £225 per person (group discounts available) / £400 with 1:1 tuition
Prices include VAT, Study Pack, Course Handbook, Training Charts, Certificate (on successful completion), Tea & Coffee

Dates: We train 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Courses can usually be arranged on a date of your choice
