RYA Day Skipper Practical / ICC upto 24m Motor Cruising Training Course

Our RYA Day Skipper Practical course teaches motor boat handling and navigation up to the standard required to complete a coastal passage by day.

Your Day Skipper certificate can be exchanged for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) for vessels up to 24m / 79ft. We also offer the CEVNI (European inland waterways theory) test FREE of charge to anyone taking a practical course with us. The ICC is only available to people aged 16 years+ who are either British Residents or British Passport holders.
The course can either be conducted on our new Jeanneau Prestige 32 flybridge motor cruiser or your own vessel.
Entry requirements: Helmsman Course or other previous boating experience.
Minimum age: 16
Course duration: 4 days - 09:30 to 17:00, plus a night exercise. Alternatively 5 days if combined with Helmsman course.
Course fee: £800 per person / £1600 with 1:1 tuition / £1000 on your own boat (upto 4 people)
Prices include VAT, accommodation onboard vessel , breakfast and lunch (except own boat courses), RYA Motor Cruising scheme syllabus and logbook, certificate (on successful completion), all fuel (except own boat courses), hire of waterproofs and lifejacket.
Dates: We train 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Courses can usually be arranged on a date of your choice
