Our RYA Day Skipper Shorebased courses offers a thorough introduction to chartwork, navigation, tides and tidal streams, GPS & chartplotters, compass work, passage planning, safety at sea, parts of the boat, buoyage, collision regulations, lights & shapes, ropework and weather.

• Equally suitable for sailors and powerboaters
• Duration of 40 hours plus exam time
• The course is usually taken over 5 consecutive days (e.g. Monday to Friday), but is also available over 3 weekends or as evening classes
• We can also run this course at your location; please contact us for more information

Course fee: £400 per person (group discounts available) / £750 with 1:1 tuition
Prices include VAT, Study Pack, Course Handbook, Training Charts, Certificate (on successful completion), Tea & Coffee

Dates: We train 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Courses can usually be arranged on a date of your choice
